Spin the Globe - The Series

Join our narrator, Frederick von Wigglebottom, as he introduces you to new cultures from all around the globe.  In his travel adventures, Frederick meets each story's main characters (always a girl and boy) who are indigenous to the area.  These characters introduce Frederick to the people, culture, food, animals, and some pretty cool facts about where he “landed”.  Frederick's goal is not only to entertain your children but also to use his adventures as an opportunity for them to broaden their horizons, instill a desire for them to want to learn even more, and for all of us to become good citizens of our planet.

Spin the Globe: The Incredible Adventures of Frederick von Wigglebottom appeals to children in the intermediate grade levels from third to fifth/early sixth grades. The characters and story line also appeal to children ages eight and older to be read by themselves but Frederick's adventures make for great bedtime stories or to be read at school for children in the younger grades, ages four and up.

Frederick carries along his trusty journal (The Glossary in each story) containing explanations, facts, and other choice tidbits of information about his adventure.  Come join him!

There are 195 countries in the world, so the list is pretty long!  Other countries currently under story development are: Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Egypt, France, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Jordan, Mexico, Philippines, Russian Federation, Scotland, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.
